The draw for the Fifth Round of the FA Vase was made at lunchtime this afternoon, with 1874 Northwich our sole surviving team in the Last 16 of the competition.

They will face Chichester City at home, with 1874 looking to move to the Quarter Final and just two rounds away from a Wembley appearance.

It's been a record breaking season for 1874, who progressed through to this stage for the first time yesterday after overcoming Northern Counties East League side Pontefract Collieries 3-1, with Scott McGowan scoring twice.

And it will be a history making Quarter Final with Chichester also reaching this round for the very first time on Saturday, with goals from Harry Williams and Steve Hutchings giving them a 2-1 win away at Horley Town.

Chichester play in the Southern Combination and are currently in fifth place in the league table.

The tie will take place on the weekend of 3rd/4th February 2018.
