Bootle - Club Captain Liam Loughlin competed in the Barcelona Marathon last Sunday, to raise money in aid of Bootle Bucks Inclusion FC.

The club was set up by supporters of Bootle FC to enable people to enjoy the experience of playing football within a club environment whatever their ability.

The club will be attending their first ever international football tournament in Belfast in June 2019, and all money raised will go towards the cost of the trip for players to enjoy a unique experience.

Liam has set up a Just Giving page for his run which can be found by clicking here

England Universities Squad - two players from Premier Division clubs have been called up to the England Universities Squad.

Marcus Burgess of West Didsbury & Chorlton, who attends Machester Metropolitan University, and Irlam's Joel Amado (University of Bolton) are both included in the squad that was announced last week.

1874 Northwich - prior to the recent home game against Burscough, six supporters got a taste of what happens, team wise and behind the scenes on an 1874 matchday.

Based on and idea offered by joint manager Wayne Goodison, supporters were given an insight into team preparation, selection, match tactics, warm up and a review of how it all went. Supporters also observed the warm up, ‘toured’ the changing room and spent some time in the sponsors room.

Club officials explained some of their match day duties and experiences and supporters questions were answered.

The club hopes to repeat this experience in the near future.

Lower Breck - among the spectators at Breck's Groundhop game against Ashton Town at the Anfield Sports Centre was Labour MP for Liverpool Walton Dan Carden, who is also Acting Shadow Secretary of State for International Development.

Northwich Victoria - following the success of the first Northwich Victoria Curry Night in February, a second one has been arranged on the 12th April 2019. Again it is in collaboration with Aroma Spice (Holdi) Indian Restaurant , which is situated on Manchester Road in Lostock Gralam and is an award winning Indian Restaurant.

Tickets are priced at £15 which includes a two course meal along with the usual sundries, and a disco.
